Camps & Birthday Parties

In addition to donations, MMF fundraises in order to support its programs. To this end, MMF volunteers who are members of Mira Costa High School's Mindful Mentorship Club, which was established in Fall 2025 to support MMF and provide MMF with more volunteers to expand MMF's outreach, hold camps and birthday parties. All proceeds from these events are used to pay for MMF's program supplies and costs associated with running the foundation (as set forth on the Donate tab).

Camps

In these camps, which can be 1-3 days and 1-3 hours per day depending on your need, your camper(s) will be engaged in creative and mindful activities of their choice, such as cardboard Makerspace, nutritional cooking, mindful arts and crafts and collaborative sports. You can put a group together (up to 10 campers) or send your camper on their own! The cost is $18 per camper per hour.

Camps are currently offered on Veterans' Day and December 19 through December 22nd; camp can be from 1-3 hours and the start time is flexible. Camps are held at a local residence in Manhattan Beach. Please contact MMF and we will connect you with volunteers who will work with you to reserve a specific time and date and figure out what activities your camper(s) would like to engage in!

Birthday Parties

Who doesn't want their child to have an exciting birthday party with creative, fun and meaninfgul activities! MMF volunteers offer collaborative sports, imaginative arts and crafts, healthy cooking and/or baking, and cardboard Makerspace to name a few. Call or email MMF if interested in, and volunteers will help plan something your child will talk about for years to come!
